Farmhouse style stacked tray

Stacked trays (also called tiered trays) are an amazing way to add a dimensional centerpiece to an island or table! I love them for kitchen islands especially, because I don’t need to move a grouping of multiple items.  I can just lift, clean, and replace- easy peasy.  I use them for simple dining room table décor when I’m not planning a nice dinner or special occasion.

Tiered trays also lend themselves to simple seasonal decorative changes without the need to spend big bucks or take up prime decorative real estate with larger items.  You can throw decorative eggs on for Easter, small pumpkins for fall, pinecones and holly for winter, etc.

A stacked tray also works well for containing high use bathroom toiletries or categorizing specialty items, like nail polish, perfume, etc.  You can try them in kids’ rooms to display loved knick-knacks or art supplies.  Try using them in your pantry for spice storage or on a coffee bar to hold sugars and creamers.  The possibilities are endless!

Definitely find yourself a stacked tray if you don’t have one!  You can get them at flea markets, antique stores and craft stores.

I would love to hear your ideas for using stacked trays!
